  Joan P. Powell, LMT, Reiki Master, Owner Joan is a 2001 graduate of the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage and completed her Reiki Master Training at the International Reiki Center. She received her Attunement for Reiki Master at Stonehenge in Somerset, England during the Spring of 2008. Since this life changing experience Joan has combined Reiki with Massage when asked or when she feels it would benefit the client. She is strongly committed to providing a safe, calm, and soothing space for people to come and relax and let themselves go. She will work with each client to assure that their needs are met and their experience is positive. Joan primarily does Swedish, Hot Stone Massage and Prenatal Massage with limited Deep Tissue work. Robyn DeVoist, Medium, Reiki Master Teacher Born into a family of clairvoyants, an intuitive since childhood and a Rochester native, Robyn began Mediumship Training in 1996 after being certified at the Plymouth Spiritualist Church . She is now an accomplished and much sought after Medium. Robyn is also a Reiki Master Teacher (RMT) in the traditional Usui system of Reiki. She began her Reiki practice in 1999 and has established a reputation for sensitive healing energy work. Upon receiving her RMT certification she began teaching this ancient healing technique to others in both groups and individual classes. Robyn is a talented Medium, RMT and Animal Communicator.  Kevin Brunelle, LMTA 2004 graduate of Finger Lakes School of Massage, Kevin has invested ten years in exploring integrative medicine. He traveled to the Amazon Basin to be initiated into Core Shamanism, delving into archaic systems of medicine, including a variety of yogic practices, medical herbalism and several bodywork modalities. Also certified in Personal Fitness Training, and Reiki II, Kevin approaches bodywork from a standpoint of deep reverence for the body and our ability to heal ourselves.  Jillian Kelly, LMTJillian has been serving the Rochester community with Massage and Body work for several years. She is a 2000 graduate of the Finger Lakes School of Massage. She is also Nationally Certified for Massage Therapy and trained in CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute. She has also completed formal training for Prenatal Massage and completed a Foot Reflexology course at the Kripalu Institute.  Diane Goergen, MS, LCAT, CMT, Reiki MasterDiane brings with her years of experience working in a healing profession. Since graduating from Nazareth College in 1997 with a MS degree in Art Therapy, she has worked with many different populations of people incorporating a philosophy that stresses empathy, compassion and self enlightenment. Diane has continued to explore alternative ways of healing; receiving her Reiki Master Certification in 2009, which further developed an interest in energy and bodywork. She has recently graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage and is eager to begin her practice at A Healing Sanctuary, combining psychotherapy, energy and bodywork, as is inspired by the needs of her clients.  Christy Giangreco, CNHP, Licensed EstheticianChristy is a 2009 graduate of Continental School of Beauty and a NYS Licensed Esthetician (Skin Care Specialist). Prior to attending Continental, Christy studied natural health strategies and many various healing modalities, including First and Second Degree Usui Reiki and Level I and II Bach Flower Essence Training. Christy received her designation of Certified Natural Health Professional in 2005 from the National Association of Certified Natural Health Professionals in Warsaw, Indiana. In 2006 she began studying homotoxicology and bioenergetic medicine in Atlanta, Georgia at the Enertegix International College of BioEnergetic Medicine. Christy received her designation of Holistic Health Practitioner from the American Association of Drugless Practitioners in 2007. Emilie Tomkinson, LMT Emilie is a graduate of the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. Going to school and living in Boulder, CO provided the opportunity to learn from great healers in as varied schools as Shiatsu, Vibrational Healing, Sports and Orthopedic Massage. As a result, Emilie is one of very few LMT's in the Rochester area who focuses on Shiatsu Massage as well as Deep Tissue, Orthopedic and Trigger Point Therapy. She decided to pursue Massage Therapy after personally experiencing the healing power of regular Shiatsu Massage while teaching in China in 2006.
